Humane Society World Spay Day 2012 Pet Photo Contest

The World Spay Day Pet Photo Contest is an online photo contest designed to give people an opportunity to show off their pets and win prizes, to raise awareness of the importance of spay/neuter, and to raise critical funding for spay/neuter services and promotion. It runs during Spay/Neuter Awareness Month, from Feb. 1 – 29, 2012.

Our new Spay/Neuter mobile

A Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic is on it’s way.  We are grateful to ALL supporters who helped us successfully raise $275,000 toward our purchase of a New High-Quality, Low-Cost Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic based in Carteret County. The state of the art mobile spay/neuter clinic is being custom built and will be here in Carteret County to open for business May 2012.

We need YOUR continued support to help us help more animals by raising an additional $10,000 to offset start-up costs for spay/neuter surgeries our first month.

We are seeking a NC-licensed veterinarian to operate a new, fully-equipped 33’ La Boit mobile clinic. This is a great opportunity to help design the spay/neuter program from the ground up. You and the clinic staff will attend a 4-day ASPCA training program in New York City, followed by on-site training in NC with ASPCA staff.

We are seeking a mission-driven veterinarian to provide exemplary spay/neuter services as well as lead a surgery team with efficiency and enthusiasm.
