Baby is here! She was pulled from our local shelter where she’d been living since early August 2011. As her name indicates, she was someone’s baby and sweetheart and snuggling companion… until they were admitted to the hospital and could no longer care for her. Sadly, this 2-ish year old pampered, couch loving, bed cover snuggling, kitty found herself in a metal cage at the shelter for 5 months! It’s time for Baby to get a new family! She is about 11 pounds, healthy, negative for feline disease, and up to date on vaccines. We are checking to see if she is spayed. If not, she will be spayed soon. Baby is clearly happy to be in foster care as she has not stopped purring or hugging her foster mom yet! She is very playful and agile, likes the foster mom’s dogs and has no issue with the other foster cats. Baby will be in the Morehead City PetSmart Adoption center as of 1/20/12.
